djeggnog invited me to start a new thread about the blood doctrine, which i am happy to do here.

his objection was my statement,.

"i've seen the blood video, a deceiving mix of scripture, fearmongering and pseudoscience, with plenty of lab coats in view.

Hi DJ,
I hate to sound rude but your mega long posts are too boring to go through and in my opinion, there's no need to go through them.
The issue is simple.
However you attemp to justify your position on blood you fail to address the primary fact that in order for you allow your conscience to accept blood fractions, you need the help of a worldy person to donate blood in the first place.
Can brother A donate blood so that brother B can accept a fraction of it? No.
The entire JW blood theory is contradiction and I'm afraid you are another victim of double-think.
No matter how you try and convince yourself that a fraction is not whole blood, it came from a worldly who committed a disfellowshipping act.
Your American corporation continues to bend the rules to suit itself and people like you go along with whatever they publish.

Hi Not Bitter,
When I first woke up there were to main desires - one was to meet with the elders and tell them everything I'd found out and the other was to invite all family over and launch a full on presentation of everything that was wrong.
Thankfully I did neither.
A meeting with the elders would be totally pointless based on the experience of others on this board. Had I done so, I would now be DF.
A meeting with the family would have resulted in the same apart from maybe one or two who would have seen the truth.
So far I've just faded - not spoken a word to anyone. As a result there's no heat from the elders and the family are still in touch.
I do feel sad for them though fighting on doing everything they are supposed to do in their worship of the organsiation and wish I could free them but there's no easy or comfortable way of doing it.
Jesus will do it when he returns and he'll do it PERFECTLY.

Hi,
A bit before my time. I'm based in North Hertfordshire where the snow is not that bad!
Never posted my story but in short came in 1977 as a child, DF in the 90's, came back and ended up a MS until I had the "we'd like to recommend you at the next CO visit for Eldership" and I ran a mile. It coincided with finding out about the UN and it went down hill from there. Faded 4 years ago.
